I realise that I have been concentrating on European offshore vessels, or at least European designs, and so I'll try to include some from America, starting today with the North Ocean 102, which according to its blurb sheet is a DPII pipe layer, probably used mostly for flexibles, but can lay pipe up to 16" in diameter. It is owned by the veteran offshore support company J Ray McDermott although registered in Malta, and was constructed in Spain.
