Here is the bow that changed the world, the Ulstein XBow, first seen by amazed ship watchers in Aberdeen in 2006, and here it is arriving in the port for the first time. A man can been standing on a little platform sticking out from the side. He's going to throw the heaving line, which seems to be the only thing you can't do from an enclosed forecastle.
