This is the multi-purpose vessel Solution which was christened on 9th May 2016 and became part of the DUC Marine Group fleet. It is intended to work in small scale marine construction, and in an age when we have become used to IMR ships being 150 metres long this small ship at 55 metres still has berths for more than 40 people. It is advertised by the owners of being capable of many tasks including - and I had to look this up - bubble curtain deployment. For those who don't know this is to stop marine life being adversely affected by the noise of pile driving, and is what it is described as being.
