Possibly the ultimate in IMR ships was the AKER OSCV06L when it entered service in 2010 for Aker and District Offshore. All the specs of the ship are impressive with an overall length of 157 metres and an open deck area of 1850 m2. It also has berths for 140 people and a 400 tonne SWL crane. Unusually, although not uniquely, as well as after aziprops of 3000 kW each, the type is also provided with a single conventional propeller of 4000 kW.
