Here is the Adnath One seen in Malta in 2012. It shows the obvious lines of a UT 706 and indeed was originally the Star Pegasus built in , but it looks as if oil has been lengthened a bit since those days. We might ask, if we were familiar with the ship type, why anyone would order a UT 706 when they could have had the infinitely superior UT 705. The answer is that Star Offshore were tight bastards, and thought that a cheaper ship would allow them to offer a cheaper day rate. It never seemed to work out that way.
