The Ramform Sovereign is one of the most unusual and advanced seismic ships in the world. The Ramform hull. although difficult to put alongside, is ideal for the large numbers of seismic streamers which are needed to be deployed these days - that is when people actually need the work done. According to one of the ship websites it is out there doing about five knots, so in that case it is at work. It is difficult to imagine the work required to deploy and recover the multiple streanmers several kilometres long which it can trap behind it and hence these ships have small support vessels to protect them and resupply them.
