The Deep Arctic is a 2009 built diving ship, claimed by the company website to be capable of working and here I quote the brochure "of working throughout the year in virtually all sea and weather conditions". I don't often express a view when it comes to Picture of the Day, but surely there are weather conditions in which they would recover the diving bell just for diver safety, no matter how powerful and sophisticated the vessel.

And it is interesting to see that during this departure from Ijmuiden captured by Jan Plug only the other day, the port side hyperbaric lifeboat was on the deck rather than in position so obviously the ship was not actually going to work.
