As I am doing quite a bit these days I searched the archives for an interesting photograph, and here is the Nordica leaving Aberdeen. We have not seen much of this fine vessel in recent years. It entered service in 1993, and was one of the ships employed by Shell for its Arctic drilling campaign using the Kulluk. Now that the campaign is no more the ship[ has moved to Sakhalin, where apparently it will work until the spring of this year.

The photograph was taken in 2001 by George Craigen and posted here in 13th February 2017.
