While not all that many people are sending me photos any more - they can enter a competition on OilPro after all, I have the opportunity of posting some stuff from the past. I have 10,000 photos on file, and I like the industrial side of the business quite a lot. So here is the FPSO P34 with an off- take tanker. For those who are unfamiliar with these large floating objects they are mostly former 100,000 tonne tankers with all the refining equipment stuck on the deck. They can store the resulting product and pump it to tankers tied up astern.

Many are turret moored which allows them to weathervane though 360 degrees, some are moored at the bow to take advantage of the prevailing conditions and some are moored at both ends which is the cheapest way, but which requires constant intervention from support craft. This FPSO appears to have a turret, but the photo was taken from an anchor-handler connected to the bow, so who knows.
