As regular visitors know I am trawling the archives for images which please me and posting them here. This is a photograph from the Pilot House of the semi-submersible Sedco 714 on which I was towmaster. We were approaching an anchorage in Bressay Sound in the Shetland Islands. Towing the rig on the port side is the Olympic Hercules and to starboard the Normand Titan. In the middle distance is the Island Vanguard which I had sent to pick up the Lerwick pilot.
