The AKER AH12 has appeared for a couple of Norwegian owners. The one featured, built in 2010 probably at that time designated a STX AH12, is operated by Remoy Management but according to the available records there are also a couple operated by District Offshore in South America, that entered service in 2012. In today's difficult conditions (2016) their vast bollard pull of about 340 tonnes provided by 30,000 bhp of engine power, might be seen as a disadvantage because surely they use a lot of fuel. But one assumes that if you want an anchor-handler with everything this could be the one for you.
