Here is an atmospheric photograph of the PX121 VOS Partner departing from Ijmuiden the other day. It is one of six PX121s constructed recently in China for Vroon, and is a good example of the use of the Ulstein XBow which seems to have caused other naval architects to put their thinking caps on to produce other wave piercing bows. This has resulted in some striking designs. We can assume that all this progress will now come to a halt until the oil price returns to viable levels.
