The Smit-Lloyd 1, entering Great Yarmouth, probably some time in the 1970s. This was one of a class of 18 identical ships, the ultimate anchor-handlers in their day, with 3000 bhp and a 33 ton bollard pull. Even though the company built more and more powerful ships over the years, the basic design hardly changed at all.
