I found myself looking for a slightly different photo to include on the website today, and thumbing though those I have taken, found this of the Canadian tug Daniel McAllister which has been resorted and now rests on a submerged concrete cradle in the end of a disused canal in the port of Montreal. This vessel was built in 1974 for the US Navy and later was acquired by McAllister Towing of New York. Subsequently it was bought by the Great Lakes Towing Company and later was restored and placed in its current situation. Honestly, I'm not quite sure this tug in particular has been selected for restoration but there she is.
