Boston Putford is an operator of standby vessels based in Great Yarmouth and owned by Seacor. They mostly use former offshore ships, and this one, the Putford Terminator, used to be owned by Stirling Shipping and was of their own design. Its use here is key to its success in its current role since craft of this type are often used to carry cargo out to their location and when they leave to return to port for crew change may take in empty containers. On the port side you can see a daughter craft, which effectively allows the ship to look after two platforms, and on the top f the wheelhouse are fire monitors, just ion case something catches fire. Built in 1985 and still going!
