As time passes quite a few of the older supply vessels are making their way to the breakers, many in the UK have been ERRVs traditionally a handy place for old offshore vessels to be able to continue to operate, as newer and more sophisticated craft have taken their place. Here is the Putford Trader, once the Seaway Jura built in 1976 as an anchor-handler, one of two of the type I think, the other operated by Viking Supply, called Anne Viking. They are distinguished by their sloping funnels. Even in 1976 a fairly low power vessel with a bollard pull of about 60 tons. It is on its way to the breakers this week.
